I Love You
“Is that sky writing?”  enquired the younger CW pointing skywards.  We all looked up at what looked like an L.  Then sure enough an O began to drawn.  We decided that the pilot was writing ‘I Love You’ until we thought that we were in Lyon and that ‘Je t’aime’ doesn’t begin LO.  He actually went on to spell LOU topped off with this enormous heart.

I’ve never seen a declaration of love spelt out in the sky before, have you?

UPDATE:  Wandering round Lyon the next day we noticed posters for a big rugby match the day before.  Lyon Olympique Universitaire or LOU vs Clermont.  Not a declaration of love for a person then, but for a team.  Unfortunately the message failed to fully galvanize the team as the final score was LOU 20 – 23 Clermont.

Hi Catherine, what a lovely declaration of love! I hope Lou looked up at the right time and saw the gesture.

During the course of today we have realised that LOU is the Lyon rugby team, not soooo romantic!

That’s fantastic, you were really in the right place at the right time. I have never seen any sky writing. #MySundayPhoto
